Pool heat pumps, solar pool heating and air-conditioning for homes, offices, hospitals, complexes and student accommodation. Sold, installed, repaired and maintained by one specialist team.
Legacyair is your heating and cooling specialist in Ruimsig and the surrounding areas. We handle the full lifecycle of your system — from the first site assessment to the service agreement that keeps it running for years.
Correctly sized pool heat pumps, solar collectors and air-conditioning units from trusted brands — specified for your room, pool or building, not guessed.
Clean, compliant installations by our own technicians. Neat pipework, proper drainage, correct electrical protection and a handover that explains your system.
Diagnostics and repair for heat pumps, solar controllers and all air-conditioning types — including systems installed by other contractors.
Scheduled maintenance for homes, offices, clinics and complexes. Filter and coil cleaning, gas checks and priority callouts before the season turns.
Two proven ways to heat your pool — and we install and service both. We size the system around your pool, your roof and how you actually use the water.
A heat pump draws warmth out of the surrounding air and moves it into your pool water — the most efficient way to swim comfortably through winter in Gauteng.
Solar collectors on your roof use free sunlight to lift pool temperature at a fraction of the running cost, paired with a blanket for heat retention overnight.
Every building behaves differently. We match the unit type to the room, the load and the way the space is used.
Supply only or supply & install — your choice.
The everyday workhorse for bedrooms, lounges and small offices. Quiet, efficient and quick to install.
Best for — Homes · Offices
Ducted systems concealed above the ceiling with only slim grilles visible — comfort without hardware on the wall.
Best for — Luxury homes · Boardrooms
Four-way air distribution from a single ceiling unit, ideal where floor and wall space is taken.
Best for — Offices · Clinics
Self-contained units for larger volumes — halls, communal areas and commercial buildings needing real capacity.
Best for — Complexes · Student housing
We work across the residential and commercial spectrum, which means the system you get suits the building — and the people using it.
Service agreements
For hospitals, complexes and student accommodation we build a maintenance schedule around your occupancy — so servicing happens before a unit fails, not after.
Bedrooms, living areas and home pools — quietly comfortable, with the outdoor unit placed where you will not hear it.
Split systems, cassettes and ducted solutions for private offices, boardrooms and open-plan floors.
Reliable cooling and filtration where temperature control is part of patient care, not a luxury.
Multi-unit installations, body-corporate coordination and maintenance across shared buildings.
Durable, cost-efficient systems for high-occupancy rooms, with service plans that keep up with the turnover.
Based in Ruimsig, we service homes, offices and complexes across the western suburbs of Johannesburg and the Cradle.
